The Price of Indecision for the Western Scrub-Jay

We’ve all been there. In trying to decide between which of two options we like better, we take too long to decide and as a result lose the chance at one or even both.

This Western Scrub-Jay, captured on video by “berserkgunner’s” Audubon BirdCam while in the middle of just such a dilemma, learned the price of such indecision - just as we all usually do - the hard way.



Pay particular attention to the very end of the video. Who among us has not expressed the exact same reaction? Had this jay a human voice, we think we know exactly what it would say - although this being a family-friendly blog, we certainly wouldn’t print it here.
